In the summer of above-average heat and strong sun, there are only the occasional cloudy day with wind. That was exactly the kind of day during the "Regatta for Soul and Body". With a good wind and a shorter regatta than usual, the general impression was very good. Excellent wind at the start brings a significant influence of circumstances and sports luck. Someone always gets tangled up and disrupts a few neighboring boats. The crowd at the first buoy is usually large and appears in waves: first a wave of serious favorites, then a wave of second-rate favorites, then a third, and so on and so forth. At the same time, a national competition in the "optimist" class was being held near the islet of Sustipanac, which is why the sailing was shortened. By the way, it is worth noting that these "optimists" and the sailing club are the reason why Betina and Murter have good sailing experts. A little over an hour of sailing was full of numerous duels and fierce competitions in all strength groups, so that everyone had the opportunity to enjoy sailing. The rest of the day was used for socializing that had not happened in the past two pandemic years.
