Rovinj doesn't have enough traditional boats for a regata this big, but they have a lot of friends who come and help them make this big event, such as Spanjol from Rab and many other boats from Kvarner, especially from Moscenicka Draga. Traditionally, most of the friends come from around Venice and Piran in Slovenia. They arrive as a big company with a lot of boats. The Italians arrive with their ten boats after a three-day journey along the coast. The crews from Betina arrived, as promised, this year as well.

Old friends reunite. The whole place is lively. Being model hosts, the Rovinians are busy organizing the event.

This regatta is primarily organized to bring sailing with traditional boats back to life.
